the lonely road... with the Problem

the problem trying to get rid of those under booby tan lines

Howie having a little fun with the camera, he was really working it that day, in and out of the water.  Surfed Canggu, all day, a fun little left and right beach break…it was nice for Howie to get out of the big boy surf, he couldn’t handle perfect barrels anymore…. I guess we all get a little tired of surfing the shoulder…you know what I mean brother. Then we all became true Bali locals as we negotiated the afternoon traffic on our motorbikes, in search of Circle K to stock up on beers and chips.  Im pretty sure as soon as we sat on our bikes the gods started pissing on us, Indonesian style, because it was the worst downpour we have seen yet and it had to start as soon as we were taking to the streets.  Apparently in Bali as apposed to everywhere else in the world you don’t stop for oncoming traffic, it is sort of law that you just keep on going, as told to us from a German girl who is here all by herself for four months, just don’t think and definitely don’t stop…she makes us feel like one gigantic pussy.  Sunday nights in Canggu are pretty fun though, barbeques and drunk old Australian men, getting hammered…. one guy made us want to go out and by all white linens and a small flute, thought he desperately wanted to be a part of the band, he was having a great time… he did eventually get ditched by his friend, which was probably a good call, he was getting a little embarrassing. The Brazilian girls mentioned in previous blogs seem to be following us around the Island which is okay with us because we have learned you just let them paddle in front you on the way out…gives you a little something stare at, then when the wave comes you back door them (no pun intended) and take the wave….it really works out quite well
